Niplast CBRN tanks are available for both overground and underground facilities using either SafeWall®️ and SafeSub®️ products. Secondary bund containment is available if required, operating to 110% of the tank capacity. Niplast CBRN tanks can provide for applications up to 100,000 litres.

Niplast CBRN tanks work to a specific gravity of 1.00, working at an atmospheric pressure for temperatures between 0 to 30 degrees Celsius. All Niplast CBRN tanks are manufactured from Roechling PP_H polypropylene.
Niplast CBRN tanks are constructed from the highest rated welding technique within BS EN 12573, i.e. the butt fusion of extruded thermoplastic plates. Niplast fabrication technicians are certified to EN 13067 by The Welding Institute (TWI)

CBRN materials are particularly prevalent in the healthcare industry, where wastewater can get contaminated as a result of decontamination efforts undertaken at medical facilities that may include CBRN compounds. A hospital’s ability to cope with these kinds of CBRN hazards will help enhance individual protection in the event of chemical warfare or a dangerous chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear attack.
In the event of CBRN threats, it will be important to have operations that can handle the holding or storing of the wastewater produced by CBRN decontamination equipment and procedures that eliminate hazardous materials or CBRN residue from personnel or equipment.
