There are occasions when a standard off-the-shelf underground tank will suffice but there are also many occasions when it is simply not sophisticated enough. NIPLAST®’s response to such occasions is our SAFESUB® range of underground tanks, developed to meet the more onerous challenges many of our customers face routinely.
Material | POLYPROPYLENE OR HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE |
SAFESUB® tanks are designed to accommodate the internal liquid loads of the contained liquids, together with the external soil and pedestrian loads and are perfect for spillage, interceptor and blind tank projects. SAFESUB® tanks feature holding down arrangements and an installation procedure to withstand local water table floatation forces. Polypropylene and high-density polyethylene materials of construction mean that SAFESUB® tanks can store a wide range of chemicals, effluents, waste streams, rainwater and more.
The SAFESUB® tank is available as a single tank only or is also available in our SAFEWALL® format featuring an integral bunding cavity. Extended access manways complete with grip handles and lockable lids are a feature as are outlet connections complete with internal dip pipes for road tanker evacuation. In line with NIPLAST®’s other leading products, SAFESUB® is designed to BSEN12573–3:2000 and crafted by welding technicians accredited to EN13067. Bespoke SAFESUB® design can optimise available footprint or minimise excavation depths through our flexible manufacturing facilities.
A bespoke underground tank can be tailored to meet your specific storage needs for a range of diverse substances and industries. For example, some people may need underground water storage tanks, while others may need underground waste storage. As the tanks are custom, they offer a versatile solution capable of optimising space that also align with regulations.
Unlike standard storage solutions, customisable underground storage tanks are designed from the ground up as they need to consider the size and shape as well as the material so that it can hold the intended contents.
Tanks are designed to fit within an available space, no matter if it is in a smaller urban location or on a sprawling industrial site.
Our tanks are used in many sectors including, agriculture, manufacturing and petrochemicals. While our underground water tanks range is popular, Niplast’s tanks can be used to store a huge variety of liquids.
Manufactured with many materials in mind, our range of underground storage solutions are designed to accommodate everything from liquids, chemicals or fuels to water. As our tanks are built to fit your unique environment they can be built with things such as existing piping systems and additional equipment in mind.
All of our tanks are designed to meet stringent regulations and guidelines. This ensures that the storage of whatever substance you have within your tank is secure and doesn’t risk environmental contamination. Safety and compliance is our priority, so all of our customisable tanks can be fitted with leak detection systems, corrosion resistant coatings and access points for easy maintenance.
Making sure that you speak to one of our professional team who specialise in secure storage solutions is essential. Creating a bespoke underground tank requires planning, engineering expertise and intense knowledge of specific storage requirements. Our knowledge will ensure that your tank can withstand the test of time, the conditions that it will be housed in and the demands of the material that is being stored – no matter if it is a waste or water tank.
In a world where available space often poses constraints and storage needs diverge widely, bespoke our underground storage tanks present a personalised approach to efficient, secure, and compliant storage. Their versatility, tailor-made configuration, and emphasis on safety make them valuable assets for industries seeking dependable and customised storage solutions.
When it comes to selecting the ideal storage tanks, Niplast’s custom SAFESUB® tanks stand out as an exceptional choice, offering an array of advantages that position us as the preferred option for diverse industries and applications.
Constructed from either polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, our bespoke tanks are engineered to accommodate a wide range of liquids, chemicals, effluents, waste streams, and even rainwater (perfect for collecting harvested rainwater). This material flexibility ensures that SAFESUB® tanks are fit for purpose, regardless of the substance they need to contain.
